Dear Bono, et al.:
I often wonder what I would say if I were to randomly run into you. I know the things I feel about you all.
I believe that you are Heaven-sent. Too many times, I have heard from fellow fans, about how your music saved them from despair. I know that it has for me. I have listened to you through enough heart-wrenching moments that I know you have saved me. Your music has a way of invading one's soul and leading it to comfort. There is no ache that divine providence can't cure.
It would be my biggest dream to sing a song with you. Not for fame or glory, but for the love of music. Of course, knowing Bono, he would probably say it was slightly less than love.
I admire you for your commitment to your family. I know it must be hard. When I am in the office pulling another 12 hour day writing motions, I miss my kids something fierce. When life seems to be about nothing but work, I get down. Still, I love my work and my family and I recognize how hard it all is - but I imagine, for you, it is harder. Still, you have an obvious love for them and seem fueled by their love. Love that pure is intoxicating.
Can't wait for the new album. What I have heard so far is great, as usual.
